Dark blue is a mis-title. The picture is accurate, although the blue isn't "shiny" (that's lighting)...just a nice mid blue. At 5'6" height, the 28 wide is the right size for a wrap or as color bundled over a winter coat. The 36 wide would be better suited for use while watching TV or reading. This is a third purchase, the prior two experiences were gifts. Great service each time. The weight is a bit heavier than the 100% wool tropical weight scarves available. It's a sound value. Recommended.
